About Marcus Johnson

Marcus Johnson, law firm Brisbane, legal advice Brisbane, resumption services, commercial attorney, land valuation, will creation, property transactions and breach of contract in Brisbane

Marcus Johnson is an experienced property lawyer based in Brisbane, with over twenty-five years of experience in his industry. Prior to establishing Marcus Johnson Legal in 2014, Marcus was the principal of Russell Hanley & Johnson Lawyers which became F.G. Forde, Knapp & Johnson.

Prior to being admitted as a lawyer, Marcus worked as a qualified property valuer for twenty years, equipping him with the unique and expert skill set to be able to understand processes related to commercial property, land valuation, and compulsory acquisitions from both the legal and valuation perspectives.

Marcus has previously lectured in property valuation courses on a variety of subjects. He is an independently appointed investigator for the Valuers Registration Board of Queensland, investigating complaints made against property valuers. From time to time, he is also appointed as an independent arbitrator by the Australian Property Institute, to determine commercial lease disputes between landlords and tenants.

What makes Marcus, and the services he provides, different is that he not only ensures that he is across the unique circumstances of his client’s cases, but he takes a genuine interest in getting to know his clients, their situation, their businesses, and the industries they operate in. This understanding enables Marcus to develop a strategic and tailored plan to reach his client’s objectives. Marcus ensures that he does everything possible to meet (and often exceed) his client’s expectations.

To Marcus, legal practice is not simply a profession; it is a passion. Nothing brings him more gratification than to see his clients satisfied with an outcome.
